Your midwife is an expect at supporting pregnancy and birth, including water births. Water is a great way to help with pain management and gently bring baby into this world. For women that tend to like baths and use water as comfort when life is stressful tend to really enjoy water births. There is a reason this option is referred as "water epidural" for pain management. Our home birth services provides water birth in Grand Rapids, Big Rapids, and Mount Pleasant.
We accept cash, checks, or credit cards for midwifery care. We will give you an itemized bill with insurance codes to submit to your insurance plan after pregnancy care is completed with our home birth services.
Part of our home birth services include offering all the standard testing during pregnancy a doctor would discuss. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, I can order labs, medications, ultrasounds, and other routine testing options during pregnancy anywhere families choose to have it done at. Results will be faxed to our office and reviewed with the families.
